>>3577092As far as editing is concerned, try to work on correcting chromatic aberrations. I see some lens fringing in your photos that is a little distracting, but it’s an easy fix. You’re probably cropping too much and into weird ratios, which will turn out to be a pain in the ass later if you try to print or display these in a grid on a website. The pic with the dog? Blown highlights take on a harsh quality in color digital photos and even if you drop them down a few stops like you did here, they take on a weird blueish gray color and don’t help with contrast. My advice would be to convert to contrasty monochrome (black and white). Go for that daido moriyama look.
As far as shooting is concerned, given how much you’re cropping you either need to get closer or get a longer lens. Otherwise, you have an eye for interesting scenes and I would look forward to a biweekly or monthly thread from you where you just amble about Europe and find cool scenes.
