>>3576838I'm very, very confident this is a nearly completely accurate roadmap based on my sources. The only one that's iffy is the 80-200 2.5, the focal lengths and fstop might be slightly off, but pretty confident it's very close to accurate.
The rest is essentially confirmed. Also heard that the EM1X Mk. II will be announced end of next year, with the new sensor going into the EM1 Mk III and dual TruPic IX processors (which the EM1 Mk III will have 1 of) a new hand-held high res mode that basically does 80MP with essentially zero artifacts for a variety of conditions down to 1/500th shutter speed for "moderate action" like walking people and all the way down to 1/125 for "nearly static" scenes like trees in wind and such. They're doing some pretty amazing computational photography to accomplish this in camera. So basically in 2021 you can use hand held high res mode for a wide variety of street photography with active subjects, most wedding scenes, modeling/portraiture, etc. I'm pretty confident it's going to be a game changer.
Also hinted at was that the new "tilt shift" function using IBIS to turn any lens into a tilt shift lens that they patented last year is going into the EM1 Mk. III.
I'm telling you fools, 2020 is going to be the year MFT looks like greener pastures for a lot of people.
