I'm a poorfag and I just recently got an old Canon EOS-1DS camera. I have a normal nifty fifty 1.8 lens that works great but its the only automatic lens I own. I have multiple canon FD lenses and I have a FD-EF adapter and this works great on my T5i but on my 1DS I receive an error called "Err 01". To my knowledge, this means faulty connections but as most of you know (I hope) FD lenses don't have electrical connections. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or should I save up to buy some used electrical lenses? Many thanks.
