Told me that he graduated college and some reporter came up to him wanting his picture to use in the news. Didn't end up making the news but the photograph the guy took ended up in Wendell's possession. Its the only picture he has of his graduation. He also has a bunch of pictures of him from his time in the Navy he didn't know about until the end of his enlistment. Apparently one of his shipmates was a shutterbug. Gave him copies of those photos when he left. He still has them all in his archives/shadowboxes.
Photographs are important.
