A field is just a mathematical object which combines numbers together with operations on them. For virtually all applications this is just R^3 (a triplet of real numbers: x,y,z) and the usual operations of addition/multiplication. So you can get a magnetic field, electric field, gravitation field, etc, which just define a number at some position, e.g. 1 tesla above your mothers head.
Anything qualification he claims to have, he has lied about in classic narcissist fashion. He is no expert on field theory. He has no published translations of pali/greek. He's totally full of shit.
