one time my friend got into a horrible accident and instead of getting over to help him I grabbed the camera and took a bunch of shots I figured I would want someone else to do the same for me but none of the shots really came out and I kind of just feel like a dick

choose your gear and settings appropriately

figure out your framing in advance

you won't have time to make any decision other than choosing the exact moment
