>>3589589>>3589683Yeah, they are all algorithm generated, but that isn't "AI". "AI" is a popsci term. From what I've seen, it is taking real photos and tweaking them to compile new faces. So, if the original photos have someone/hand/flesh-colored thing leaning in partially to one side, you end up with those eldrich horrors. Sometimes, there's a headband or hat and it will be ultra fucked up.
I've also seen one child face with a beard and one child face with old lady eyes complete with wrinkles around the eyes. The small rectangular glasses repeat the most often. Metallic earrings seem to be a problem for it too. A year or so ago, the teeth were terror inducing, but the algorithm seems to be a whole lot better now.
Eventually, it should be able to make everything perfectly once its source database is large enough.
