>>3591521I see them sometimes in truckstops. Some of the older truckstops you can see where they had rooms the drivers would sit in, basically phone booths indoors, and would wait on the phone for their next load. There would be 10 or 15 booths next to each other.
Some of the really REALLY old places have phones in the restaurant at each table in the driver's section, or used to, Ludlow Cafe on Rt. 66 in Ludlow, CA had those when we were there, the phones were gone but the jacks were still there.
