1. I just fucking elaborately explained how Olympus has been doing Eye AF for SAF for many, many years already. All current gen Olympus cameras have *perfect* eye detect in SAF.
2. The Jared Polin link you provided is a picture of a static subject, something Olympus and Panasonic and probably every other camera company with eye AF at this point could do perfectly.
3. You keep asking why the Olympus camera can't track an old man waling around his room, except it tracks him perfectly, and the frame you showed was in focus right on his face just half a second after you screenshot it. The EM1 Mk. II has CAF speed settings from -3 to +3, and the default is 0. At +3, it immediately snaps to the face no matter where it's detected, which makes for jarring autofocus, so the default of 0 leads to smooth focus transitions for video. So we can safely say you're a fucking dumbfuck who's grasping at straws since the video literally shows the face/eye tracking working flawlessly for video.
4. The Jason Lanier video you linked doesn't actually show any of the pictures with perfect eye focus from a moving subject. All it shows is the targeting box following the eye of the subject, which doesn't mean it's in focus, it just means the camera knows what a face looks like and can put a box over one of the black dots where an eye should be. That's just fancy face tracking. In order to prove what you want to prove, that Sony has better Eye Tracking than Olympus, you need to show that Sony can actually take a real picture of a moving subject in CAF and nail focus on the eye. So far you haven't done this, nor has any video I've ever seen and I looked a lot when it was being hyped. No one ever shows it working for CAF subject tracking of moving subjects.
So, it's kind of disappointing we need to have retard hour and have these kinds of explanations, but frankly, this is what I expect from Sony shills; All bark, no bite.
