Photos I took mostly in the suburbs, most are from Hungary, the rest are from Australia. Some are just snapshits I thought looked cool, but most of them are loosely centered around the idea of photographing the individual identities of the two countries (I'm from Hungary and live in aus now), and how they're converging through urbanisation and globalisation to the point where sometimes you can't really tell where you are.
It's vague at the moment as I'm fairly new to shooting and I'm still experimenting with different styles like newtopo, architecture, more nature-focused shots, etc. I feel like I'll need to shoot a lot more to have enough material to actually start organising it, but I want to eventually make a photo book that starts out with images that make the location very easy to recognise, and then progress to where it's just all gloomy depressing newtopo shit and it's basically impossible to tell where the photos were taken.
The ektacolor 160 scans have been fucked with as it's about a decade expired and it had a nasty blue tint that was extremely strong in the shadows. I also reduced the blue curve just a touch for the BW images to give them a bit of a warmer tint. I used NLP and PS curves adjustments for all negs.
