>>3609916>>3609916>they had to redesign itahhh, yes, because adding a new colour, using a lighter weight composite and changing from a rubber coil spring to a leaf spring in the tilt mech REALLY changed the chair... right?
This chair has been almost completely unchanged since 1992, and still sells for the same price it launched at, and is still considered the reference.
>Had to add lumbar supportNo, the Aeron had 2 different versions of lumbar support from launch, now it is only available with the more expensive lumbar support or none at all, although the old mid range lumbar pads still fit and work.
Look at you, so eager to debunk it as the best chair on the market, making up stories, filling up that head canon of yours with more fantasy articles.
Cute, but maybe in future, try citing these issues, or citing your credentials to discuss these issues.
At the very very least, timestamp yourself with an aeron, so we know it's at least an informed opinion.
The aeron is a MUCH better chair than my old Hag Sofi, I can make that distinction because I have owned both.
>you're paying for the nameNo, brand name things that rely on the name alone tend to crash in value as soon as they go 2nd hand. 2nd hand aerons cost more than 99% of new chairs. The still represent the best value for money on the market thanks to an infinite supply of spare parts that can be fitted by the user, if anything perishes.
>>3609920>build qualityaye, that's why many companies see the aeron as an affordable option, they are super solid and parts are easily sourced and replaceable. The warranty they offer is 12 years unlimited, even if you're the 7th owner, they can look up the serial and book you in for free warranty repairs, and their warranty covers ANYTHING that breaks or doesn't work perfectly
