Most of the current Sugar Rolex 24 Thread was done using my elbow resting on my knee while I was sitting in the stands to pan those racecars. The only real free-hand pan shots were in golden hour on Party Row and very very early on.
>>3610222If you're walking and moving from location to location on site, a monopod makes sense, you can get down pretty low especially if the camera is lightweight and has a relatively short lens on it. All the IMSA /p/rotogs at Rolex were using monopods.
