i could never see paying more that 50-100 bucks for a lens.
every lens that i own is secondhand, and i mainly use an enlarger lens (schnieder kreuznatch componar) and a wollensak 1 1/2 inch cine lens.
for more upclose things i mate a 10x infinity microscope objective to the reversed side of wollensak lens
i prefer extension tubes and i can usually get away with a 50mm one and wollensak lens outputting 6x magnification
in the near future i am going to buy a mirror telephoto and do some modifications to it for 2x magnification at 20 feet for some cool hummingbird shots.
im kinda a poorfag so really what i need is a new camera body (been using a 450d since it came out) however i chose to accumlate more glass first!!!!
