>>3614576It would have been a great release IF it had:
>IBIS>faster burst in live view>using the same in-sensor autofocus from the Z7 or atleast the Z6, maybe improved>4k internal RAWThat's it. They already have an IBIS system that with some extra engineering effort would fit inside a pro DSLR, and although slightly inferior to the competition, their mirrorless in-sensor autofocus is miles ahead of their contrast detection autofocus
What effort they would have to do is to make a faster processor that can handle atleast more than 14 FPS 14bit bursts in live view, 18-20 or so with a buffer larger than the A9.
A9 has been able to shoot over 20 FPS(12bit) since 2017, and Canon could do 14 FPS(14bit) too around that time with 1DX II. So it's fucking retarded to believe the best upgrade they could do would just be up to 14 FPS, not even fully utilizing the speed of the CFE/XQD cards. If the other camera makers can produce a processor that fast, then Nikon can definitely do such aswell.
For internal RAW, that might be doable with the faster processor and the use of CFE cards that can handle the ridiculously high bitrate that the 1DX III can produce, fully utilizing the CFE card speeds.
There's seriously no point in buying this over the D5.
The A9 II wasn't all that impressive either, but it's still a much better camera than this disappointment as it didn't sacrifice anything.
Canon is the clear winner here.
But I have a conspiracy theory. Maybe the have decided to not release an impressive Pro DSLR because they want to allocate those resources for a Pro Mirrorless instead? So they just made this lame cashgrab, hoping some retarded Nikon drones to buy it for the Olympics?
The Z6 had some features that were quite revolutionary for it's price range, like 10 bit LOG and RAW external recording.
