He keeps it in manual focus on small aperture, then just shoots from same distance all the time. Flashes keep exposure the same, aperture keeps enough depth of field that he has some room regarding how close he needs to be to get everything in focus. Shutter speed is probably locked as well.

Thought it was gonna be something good but hes just another arrogant and annoying twat trying to copy Gilden w/o actually creating memorable art. Its just basically portraits w/ a wide angel and being obnoxious.
I mean, kudos to him for getting close and actually defending street photography instead of the leica-stealthy virgin types, but hes just....its not really that good.

He's most likely the only consistent candid fisheye photographer ever. If he was straight up copying, don't you think he would shoot in black and white and use a flash? Or is every candid portrait without being a pussy just "copying Gilden" Who's apparently less of an obnoxious photographer.
