If you're shooting landscapes then narrow your search to landscape composition, for portraits then portrait composition etc
Once you get that down and want to push your images for a bit more punch then you can use a very robust and simple to learn editor on your phone such as Snapseed. It's free and has many great features. Now go shoot and stop worrying.
