in a week im going to japan, where im going to backpack across the entire country, sleeping in nature and hitchiking around for 3 months.
i want to make a video out of the whole ordeal, but i dont feel like bringing my dslr around.
what camera setup would you sugest?

i need a camea thats small, shoots okay high quality video and wont bring me too much attention. any suggestions? im thinking a camcorder with a fisheye extension for when im holding the camera and filming myself. i also need a super lightweight tripod that can film me walking. whats the skinniest lightweight extendable tripod? i could just get one of those gorilla grip things but always having such a low angle could get repetitive.
what sollution would be best for storing the footage? im thinking i can mail the sd cards back home as they fill up but its a bit scary with the corona going around and packages not going where theyre supposed to. an alternative could be to uload them to a cloud storage from internet cafes?

im bringing a compact film camera for photos. film is cheaper in japan right?
