It's not really possible to make a pixel smaller than the wavelength of the light being captured.
FLIR cameras capture 8µm to 14µm IR, so the pixel size would be 14µm at the smallest.
That means the theoretical maximum resolution for a full-frame thermal camera is about 2500x1700, 4.5 megapixels.
And that would cost a fuckton of money just to produce, not even including the optics.
