posting separately as gear thread reached bump limit and the camera I'm thinking to buy has a limited time discount

I can borrow a barely-used Canon EOS 1200D with EF-S 18-55mm lens from a relative, and have narrowed down my own choices to:
>Panasonic FZ80/82 (60x zoom bridge camera, £180 manufacturer refurbished with 1yr warranty)
>Panasonic FZ300/330 (24x zoom bridge camera, ~£360 new as not many pre-owned)
I have a £60 giftcard so if I buy the refurbished FZ80/82 then I'm only spending around £100 which is what I'm comfortable with seeing as my main reason for buying a camera is to take nice pictures at my bird feeder and other birds in the neighbourhood. However, the FZ330 has better image quality overall despite the lower zoom range, but I would be spending 3x the money.

Looking at examples of people's shots with the FZ80/82 I am satisfied with the quality as I know I'm not going to be posting award-winning photos. I will also have the Canon EOS 1200D for proper DSLR quality pictures. So would a combination of Canon EOS 1200D with 18-55mm EF-S lens + Panasonic Lumix FZ80/82 be ideal for my needs and budget?

Canon DSLR for high quality close-range images and Panasonic FZ80/82 for general birding right?
