Recently got a g5x for a steal because the lens cover was busted I thought it would be one of those situations where you can just jiggle it back to where it would open and close but it turns out that the lens cover leafs are no longer connected to the spring motor so it needs to be taken apart. Now I've seen some tutorials on how to remove the lens housing on a g7x but I dont know if they are built the same

Anybody have experience with this???
