That was ultimately the reason why I pointed out an alternative/alternatives to stabilization. Photographers practically often lack what they need, so they have to come up with options. But I see all to often that people like to give up untried because it seems (mistakenly) impossible to them if they miss some technical frills.
Especially at available or low light, everyone seems to lose their mind although, in practical terms, the benefits are far from being as important as they are often understood or being marketed.
With the quantity of photos you are now arguing in a different direction, I am not questioning your position. With multiple shots I can take photos that I couldn't take otherwise, so I take them, a thing that people miss or fear. Although it's not the perfect solution, it's a really great option for lack of some better one. it's basically the 'the one you have with you' or 'no excuses' option. Also it works on top of technical frills, so you're even pushing the high end.
