>>3637334>>3637490The rub he gets from photographers is mostly because he calls himself a photographer when he isn't. People know this. It is pretty evident.
But, the guy is most likely autistic and really wants to be a photographer. He will never be a great one, but he will know gear better than everyone. Again, his autism on full force.
When I was in my early 20's, I decided to live in the art district in Rice area of Houston. I started selling my pen and inks and got to know the art crowd. Most are groupies. Few actually had any creative aspect. They were tatted up and had holes in their lips, ears and tongues. Rare back then, 20 years ago, but quite common now. The really creative people had zero tattoo's and definitely no holes in their body parts.
It was a sign of lacking creativity to do so.
Ken is a photography groupie when it comes to the creative side. He has the tat's and body holes just as so many did back then, when I was active in the art scene.
Want to see a really messed up world? Worse than the photographic world? Enter the world of art.
Beyond messed up.
Some of the absolute worst people you will ever meet in your life. None of them have a clue what art is either.
But, they know the difference between impressionist and modern.
Photography is different form art, though. I can create with my fingers and paint, art. With photography, my tools are complicated computers with lenses that need expert advice on how to use.
This is where guys like Ken come in and he has helped me a lot form watching his videos.
I remember trying in vain to figure out how to make my pinhole lens that took 8 weeks to be delivered from Germany , to work.
Damn thing would not work.
Guess what? There is a menu option to use camera without lens that has to be selected. Who informed me of this?
