A few basics would be:

>1000x ND or higherTo be able to use longer shutterpeeds in daylight.
>polarizing To cut or increase glare, realy great if you take pictures of cars.
Other than that maybe certain wavelength filters like ones that fiter out sodium vapor light for astro or a clear/UV one if you're doing shit that's hard on your gear.
Colour/warming/cooling filters are almost obsolete in digital cameras as you can do that more accurate in post.
