To be honest, the initial publication of the E mount protocol was a really good argument for the mount! But even this was not continuously made available to the public.
Anyway, Sony remains a meme for me and Canon and even Nikon have jumped on the meme wagon. Tamron hardly plays under Sigma in price, but offers too little. What is Samyang more than an alternative for compact shards? So, what is L mount missing? To add to that, Panasonic keeps their shit together, expensive, but decisive in distinction and not chasing some YouTube influenza.
