you really just come off as having sour grapes, try saving your money up instead of expecting a company to put in the legwork to export features back in time to more limited equipment.
It's probably quite possible with enough know-how to run Luminar 4 on a Windows 98 machine, but you shouldn't be surprised there's no rush to offer it.
