Maybe it is a joke that Fuji's 'medium format' GFX is barely larger than a regular 35mm full frame and not actually medium format. At least not as medium format as the hasselblads.

you get much more bang for your buck by increasing sensor size than you do by increasing film size.

i also don't think there's a memory bus fast enough to handle the output from a full 645 sensor at modern pixel density standards.
