>>3655488>Ill be honest most of the work i tend to see on film is way too flat and uncreativeStop searching #film on Instagram and buy photos books.
>not beign able to develop yourself might be a factorDo you mean develop as an artist or actually physically developing the film? If the latter than you're brain dead, there is photo labs still operating in every country and home developing kits are a thing, heck you can even develop black and white images at home using vitamin-c and coffee.
>but almost all pro scene uses digital>proYou mean genres of photography where deadlines for photos to be published is essential like sports/journalism? Then sure I wouldn't be caught shooting film in that scenario. More creative genres where deadlines aren't a thing I don't see a problem with shooting film (or digital).
>is it time to start pushing the upsides of digital? In in time sensitive fields it already has been the stand for over 20 years. In creatives fields use whatever medium you want, don't let others tell you what you can and can't do.
>and whats next for photography considering the constant denigration and unimportance of the businessIt's not as unimportant as you think, print media will last for ages and news websites will still need photos for articles. Video will not kill photos.
