Need advice on a mirrorless camera. My needs:
>1) photography work: pretty sterile (not artsy) white backdrop stacked photos of woodworking powertools
>2) video work: filming old guys doing woodworking, tool assembly, instructional stuff
>3) other video work: music performances (mostly small venues, living rooms, npr tiny desk type stuff, very poor indoor lighting)
>want to stay under $1500
So far I see my options as
>Sony a6400 w/ 16-55mm kit lens for sterile photo work and possibly video work, could add the 35mm OSS lens and be just within my budget
>Fuji X-T30 w/ 18-55mm kit lens for everything ... $1300
The T-30 seems better as far as video quality goes. Recording time limits are kind of a bummer, but I'd probably never record anything over 6-7 minutes at a time anyway, so I don't see it as a huge handicap. Sony a4600 rolling stutter is pretty concerning, but seems like I could get more bang for my buck overall.
I'm also not too sure either of those kit lenses are what I'm looking for for my sterile powertool photo work. Any recommendations in that could help me make up my mind in that regard?
Open to suggestions and opinions.
