Anyone have an EOS M6 II? How do you like it? I was thinking of getting one to replace my a6000. Also curious how well it shoots birbs since it has that 30 second go back in time feature.

Back in time is only with electronic shutter, so expect warping. Crop factor should help with birbing, but you'll need adapter to e mount since there are no native lenses, and you'll probably need to buy evf as well. Sensor is spectacular. Imho best apsc on the market currently.

Not too long ago a poster talked about this M6 and the reason he got it. He said it's their best APS-C by far and better than the M50.

It doens't have an EVF because in reality they're really not that useful. I went out of my way to buy a camera with EVF and only ever use it if I want to look cool

You look more pro while doing it. Everyone can look at a screen, only the pros can look through the viewfinder.

I don't really shit on EVFs, I just noticed that I don't use them all that much and also thanks to the wonders of modern engineering you can flip the screen in whatever angle you desire so you don't actually have to press the camera in your face.

I would absolutely use evf in sunlight to frame video. My dslr has mirror up when vid is on, and it is very difficult to frame. Placement falls into place when I can stick my peeper on the sight hole.

The pros look through a viewfinder because it lets you hold the camera in a more stable way and blocks out the sun to make it easier to frame, plus it gives you a view of the scene you're setting up with fewer distractions.

I bought one to use with the 22/2. I stg the thing is on par with my R. The evf can be annoying but imo the best aps-c camera I've owned. Go for it. Buy the sigma lenses though.
