>>3662805>Tell me why you haven't sold all your gear and bought the best camera out there?Because I like my other gear.
>best focal lengthI use different focal lengths depending on the situation. Notably, I do a lot of portrait shooting, so I frequently like to have a medium tele.
>classic negative film simulation, best sooc jpegsI prefer to do my own editing. E.g., as above, I would want to be able to edit out small zits and other blemishes on my models, which would mean a second generation JPEG as output. Which, granted, isn't a huge deal, but it would bother me.
>easy to bring anywhere you goI don't have a problem bringing a large camera with me almost anywhere I go. For the few places I'm not carrying something like a Canon 5D, I also wouldn't be comfortable bringing an X100.
>no more gas problemsYou vastly underestimate my lust for ever more and more new camera gear. E.g., I probably *will* some day get something in the x100 line, even though it does nothing I can't do with any of 27 of my other cameras.
I know this is just a troll thread, so doesn't really deserve a serious answer, but the serious answer is that an X100 doesn't fit a lot of the shooting that I do, and even those areas where it would be a perfect fit, my Leica is also a pretty good fit, and I really like shooting with that, so it'd mostly sit at home collecting dust.
