I would say try to research how this camera is considered within the brand. every camera brand has duds and great cameras. Also, consider second hand higher end models that are a bit older. For stills sensors have barely advanced in quality in 8 years.
To be honest, seems like a pretty decent starter camera, has anything you need to get started. And I think what is pretty important, it takes the same lenses as bigger brothers, thus if you upgrade you dont need to throw away all your lenses, and there is a huge supply of second hand lenses too.
