What's better for cleaning your lenses, microfiber cloth and fluid or pre-soaked wet wipes?

I've been using microfiber cloth up until now but I'm going to pick up a bunch of the Zeiss lens wipes because it's easier to clean and easier to bring with you, but are the actual cleaning capabilities better or worse than using a microfiber cloth?

I've read wet wipes are better because they're gentler on the lens and are one time use only so they won't be dirty like the microfiber cloths that are reusable, but am I talking out of my ass?
