I'm just finding the autofocus missing a *lot* and generally taking a long time, even in what I'd consider to be good conditions & manual focusing just feels too rough to be comfortable.
It's at the point where I've had more success shooting with a vintage Yashica 70-210.
That's why I'm looking for something better.

It's a little slower, yes, but even brand new from a store it costs in the same ballpark as the used Canons.
