I change lenses after showering. The moisture soaks up all the dust. That being said I only shoot 28mm and 85mm anyway and I never use more than one focal length per outing so it works out for me.

I hotswap my lenses without looking. Trained it for all my life. Just drop the old one out, in one smooth swipe place on the new one and within 1.8 seconds I'm ready to shoot again.

My time tested system:
>open bag
>camera into left hand
>lens into right hand
>close bag
>camera placed mount up on bag or knee
>press lens release button and twist halfway
>left takes new lens cap off places cap into left palm
>look up marking
>left takes old lens and lifts off mount
>right puts new lens on mount immediately twists into lock
>replace cap on old lens put into bag

I always keep the camera facing downward, always turned off too, as the electronics on the sensor attracts dust.

I just stopped giving a fuck about dust, one advantage of DSLR over mirrorless is that they don't get dust on the sensor as much.

Depending on what I mount my body on, there isn't a single glass element in front of it anyway.
So I clean the sensor once in a while and always have a blower in my backpack when carrying multiple lenses.

In seriousness, I do have more than just this lens, but it does mean I can go from landscape to (short) portrait or something in between without the hassle and without exposing my sensor to dust.

like >>3668113 says though worrying too much about dust is pointless. just don't leave your body lense-free for too long and you should be fine. if you really want to never get dust in your camera ever again, don't even use it.

I bought a 35mm camera that only came with a 135mm lens. I tried to make do, and zoom with my legs. I went through half a roll and then I put an order in for a 50mm lens on ebay. fuck that shit man.

I haven't taken off my lens for over half a year now. 27mm on a crop gives you a perfect zoom to work with for everything that isn't a niche like birding or sports games.
