Redpill me on photo sharing sites in the current year. Is Flickr dead? It seems much more photo-centric than the sites that are half photo sharing, half social media, like Instagram.

I'm looking for somewhere to put some of my photos and get and give constructive comments. Instagram seems far too transitory for my liking (i.e. what people find is what's new, and when you post an update, your old photos get pushed into obscurity). Plus it seems to be about the photographer as a personality, rather than just the photos.

Is there a sucessor to Flickr? Or is it going to stick around a while longer?
