Current camera starts to fail at 800 iso i/e better lowlight performance.
Autofocus is only good when the object isn't moving.
I want to use my camera as a webcam occasionally and I can't get the DOF I want with the space I have.
Sure, I can get separation by having the background miles and miles away but that isn't the case all the time. Sometimes I want wide angle portraits with the background slightly blurred. It's not an inconvenience to calculate what a lens will be on a crop sensor, it's the fact that if I want an actual 22mm or 24mm focal length on a crop sensor, I'd have to find a 16mm or lower 1.4. Which I know there is the Sigma 16 1.4 for crop sensors but it still isn't going to actually be 1.4 anyways.
Realistically I'd be perfectly fine with the A7 iii. The A7R IV would be nice to have if I could not always shoot at 61mp. It's more of the fact that an a7 IV could come out "soon™". With the discounts I can get, I'd probably be better off just buying the newer camera. But obviously there have only been just rumors on the release.
