Never mind that you have to consider the price difference. With that 100 euro you would save you can easily get a nice other lens with it.

At least it is a nice lens to figure out what focal length you like using, which can inform you for your next lens purchase and enables you to try a lot of different kinds of photography.
If you want to do video, the 60D is a no brainer, but I personally have never, ever used video.
