>>3677401>Just why? So much overlap.I like photography. I like cameras.
When I'm doing Srs Bzns photography, my go-to is always the 5D3, which is by far my most fleshed-out system and the most capable (plus I prefer its controls and ergonomics over any of the others when the most important thing is getting the shot).
When I'm just walking around enjoying the Experience Of Photography, where the *process* of photography as a hobby is just as important as the resulting images, my go-to is usually the Leica. But a lot of the time, I'm just in the mood for something else, so I've got Nikon, Sony, Fuji, m4/3, Sigma, and Pentax gear to fuck around with. Same with all of my film cameras--I rarely like my film shots as much as I'd like an identical shot taken with the 5D, but I enjoy the film process enough that it's worth the extra money, plus I own an interesting selection of film cameras to play with that don't really have digital equivalents.
I don't feel like enjoying playing with cameras and enjoying photography are mutually exclusive.
