>>3680777Yes, theres more to sensor light gathering than pixel density. The extra 8mp are versatile for editing (not cropping, the image i have attached is a bs example as it glosses over ff equivalent, in reality all 3 images will be framed exactly the same)
People almost always shoot with af on, especially when out and about, or at sports, or at wildlife. The only time you dont af is stuff like astro photography, or in the studio (which you won't be with an em10). I think wedding photographers shoot manual sometimes but ive not looked into it.
Trust me youll hate manually focusing your shots. I have tonnes of vintage glass and its cumbersome to use.
>>3680788Tbh you can actually take decent astrophotography with the em10mkii, or at least i have. Not with landscapes but pure starry skies come out reasonably crisp. The low resolution definitely sucks for astro.
Id like to say the ibis is kinda bloen out of proportion on olympus. Its good but modern full frame pretty much matches it on top end models from my understanding.
I guess one other pro to olympus cameras is you can hack the firmware to get unlimited video recording time, but thats pretty useless on the em10. The hack also lets you do focus bracketing on every lens.
