Then have your subjects be nothing, it could be as simple as filming traffic and juxtaposing it against runners in parks, or construct a set and make a really detailed cinemagraph scene out of it. Or do a day by day of birds at bathtubs, a montage of fruit hitting walls or do something experimental and crazy like C'était un rendez-vous and strap a camera to your bumper and run people over. So many things you can film without subjects.
