Personally I hardly touch mine, and if it is, it is to crop, or adjust levels. Sometimes I will eliminate parts of a photo to eliminate trash in a scene, and I mean literal trash that no amount of moving in,out, or side to side will get it out of the frame.

It is like the old Minolta ads with that tennis player supposedly shooting great shots with an automatic camera, the reality was they were never any better than snapshit level, might as well used a Kodak brownie. I remember SNL doing a skit with Eddie Murphy impersonating Stevie Wonder using a Minolta. Was pure comedy gold for photographers. Or it was Stevie himself cannot remember. But either way yeah it is people not bothering to care to do nothing but point and press.
