Full frame:
>1D seriesPro level cameras aimed at journalists and sports photographers.
Known for high burst rates, robustness and low megapixels for a more high paced workflow.
>5D seriesPro level 'work horse' cameras for general purpose photography. Has high megapixel count, low burst rate models like the 5DSr and the 'regular' 5DmkI/II/III/IV series. Just all around dependable, reliable and robust workhorses that will give you the results when you need them.
>6DA more entry level full frame camera, think of it as a 5D 'lite'. They have a smaller body and less 'pro controls' but are still very capable and great value for money.
>APSC>7D seriesThe 'speed demons' purely made for good autofocus and high burst rate. Maybe you can think of it as a 'budget 1D' camera, good for sports and wildlife things. I think the weather sealing and body quality is also better than cheaper APSC cameras.
>10D seriesThe 'semi pro' APSC line up of bodies. If you seriously want to get into photography, this is probably your best starting point. Note that they had solid magnesium alloy bodies up to the 50D, after that not anymore. They distinguish themselves from lower end models with mostly better controls and more well build bodies.
>100D seriesSeen as an entry level camera. Some of them have interesting modes to learn photography by using pictograms and stuff, although I personally don't like to be treated like a retard.
>1000D seriesIntroduced as an even lower end than the 100D series. Purely meant for Karens on holiday who want to take a picture that looks better than their cellphone, without wanting to put in any effort into learning how to take a proper picture.
