Agreed, for the photographer himself AND the people photographed it is creepy.
However I can not deny some street photography photos are the best by far and not the greatest landscape or architecture photo could tell as much of a story as a mediocre street photography photo.

An interview with a street photographer I saw had the photographer say that the key is to just shoot the photo without thinking. You have to literally not think about whether you should photograph that person or not, you just instinctively take the picture. Whether you'll get a punch in the face or the person doesn't care will show afterwards. You can't think about that before taking the photo.

there is your first pic that doesnt look staged and takes place on the street, and its terribad. the subject is uninteresting, everything is horribly tilted, and for some reason you used a flash in the middle of the day on full power, and yet you still ended up with shit tons of noise. but if you keep on screaming mogged and annihilated, you can protect your fragile ego, at least in your mind. there is no theme in your photos, there is no focus, you have no project, you have nothing at all.

I'm not qualified enough to tell you if it is or not, but to me, it doesn't have that traditional street photography feel that I'm used to seeing.
