Yeah I have had my 40mm micro mounted on camera for quite a while.
But really I have no favorite, I use whatever I need to get the shot.

i find 22mm on a crop sensor (in the form of the ef-m 22 f2) to be a really nice all around lens

It's absolutely fantastic, super bloody small, compact and discrete.
It's good for 28mm but using a 40mm just feels so right with this camera. I still need to get a dedicated Leica M 40mm Leica M mount lens for it but I've been using an adapted Super Rokkor 45mm f/2.8 LTM lens.

Only complaint is framing for 90mm is kinda whack, with it's high base magnification and that the 90mm framelines are just the corners (pic related)

Thanks mate. 28 & 40 just seems perfect. Enjoyed 40mm a lot on my Canonet - when 50mm is too tight, 40mm is perfect.

Completely agree.
I find 50mm an awkward focal length, not tight enough to be a proper portrait lens/short tele and too tight to get shots that emphasise the scene. With 35mm I find myself either wanting a slightly wider lens or something a bit more tighter. 40mm just seems right as a standard lens, 28mm feels good for a wide angle and 90mm is the perfect short tele/portrait lens.

All on crop-sensor, I often find myself near 35 mm in many cases, allthough I realy love my 135 mm as well.

You are looking at the photos from the same distance, that is why you see increased perspective or compression looking at ultra wide and telephoto shots
