I get it, I just think it’s incredibly short sighted. And, while I know Sony hasn’t had a new release in some time, Nikon actually recently took back the #2 sales spot in Japan specifically because of the Z50. But while there was headline after headline after headline of when Sony passed them, there was zilch when they took it back. As more and more people get their hands on the Z gear, the reviews are really starting to come in line and I think Nikon has something good here. I think a lot of the initial stuff was all those people who sold their Nikon shit for Sony just validating their decision and only now they’re realizing what Nikon is actually trying to do. And before you call me a shill, I could not give a fuck if Nikon goes under or is sold to the highest bidder or whatever. At the very least, Nikon seems to be doing their best to innovate while Canon is unbelievably still sitting on their hands and just living off their name.
