I take photos because I like the process and satisfaction of just being alone and taking time with subjects en composition.
I had a girlfriend who was like this, she never really got into photography before she met me but liked "making photos" (on her phone).
This meant that every time I showed her photos I recently made, she asked if she could come with me. Which is is hard because she in general is very high energy and I just want to slowly walk around places, photograph and observe.
I started to show her less photos just because I didn't want to tell her that it bothered me, because she was one of the nicest people to me for real. I even once actually took her with me when making pictures and although like I said she was really nice, I did not enjoy it as much as I otherwise would've.
Also how the fuck do you tell someone that is nice to you that their photos just aren't that good?? I don't want to hurt people but damn..
Anyways anons, respect other peoples hobbies and spare time.
