as for sharpening- i have a canon 8800f, there is no such thing as "oversharpening" scans from that pice of shit.

It doesn't work in this case. There's no reason to knock your model's legs out of focus (>>3705273) just to emulate a look. The focal plane you chose to use doesn't make a while lot of sense. Why use left shift and front tilt instead of just a bit of shift to align the plane of focus with the tree she's standing on. You may want to pay more attention to that in the future instead of just minimizing your DOF.

If you want to research it further, the theory behind the use of tilts & shifts is called the schiempflug principle. It's not actually that complicated once you can visualize that you're just manipulating the plane of focus
