>>3718028Yes both ooc JPG. I resized them in LR, so this is why it shows up in the exif. I mostly used the "Vivid" preset, but lately I have started shooting only RAW, because the noise reduction in LR is way better than what the old cam can do internally. Also lens correction etc. is better in LR. Really breathes live into older cameras, which I like a lot.
I started using this cam as if it was an analog camera with an endless roll of ISO 200-800 film. Used with bright primes or stabilized zooms its easy to stay within reasonably low ISO values.
6mp is enough to print to A3, if you carefully upscale you can get away with A2. If viewing distance is not a problem you can print even bigger. Cropping on the other hand is not really possible.
Shooting the D40 like an analog/digital hybrid is a lot of fun, and the CCD sensor gives nice colors.
