How the fuck is there so much.... STUFF in this photo. It's sharp and detailed and everything is focus and I can see so much detail in highlights and shadows. Even though its black and white there's so much variety of tones that it's a pleasure to look at.

How was this done and why can't I point-and-shoot to get such a photo with such detail?
