>>3726481Some camera systems DO allow you to view shutter count in camera, only Panasonic and Olympus of the top of my head. If you bring your own SD card to shoot on you could check the shutter count in a laptop or something right there.
Does it take pictures? Write to card ok?
Do all the buttons and dials work?
Does the mirror and lens mount look clean? Flip up the mirror and check the sensor.
Check the flash,and the IR blaster. If you have a flash, check the hot shoe.
How does the shutter sound? Put it on burst and check there as well.
Check for dead/stuck pixels by shooting an overexposed and underexposed image.
Check all the ports, make sure there's no dried crusty spooge or bent pins.
Just fiddle with it as long as you can and make sure everything works.
